“Maids” based on the text by Jean Jeanette, this dramatic text demonstrates the arbitrariness of class labels and the real struggle of class inequality through absurdity. Maids is the embodiment of illusion as a reaction against authority, where sisters Solange and Claire – Madame’s maids – demonstrate through role-playing their own frustrations and pains from the oppression of authorities. At the same time, at the same time, the inspiration comes from the Turkish traditional theatre called “ortaoyun”, choreography and music will be used in the performance as a main role in the style of the play, which can also be classified as physical theater.
The rebellion and the cry of the young generation, which faces a series of problems and conflicts between people at a time when world capital is the benchmark for power.
