The performance “Skopje, the great escape” is an immersive performance and audio-visual experience, which engages the audience through some of the forgotten places in Skopje, through a collective walk opening up the social dimension of public spaces.
The city and the river are in a continuous, turbulent discussion anyway the inhabitants populate the changing, sometimes irrational, place that they perceive as their home.
Is it an eternal love story or a story of the struggle to make this place livable?
The performance takes place in the form of an interactive audio walk and spatial interventions through video segments with elements of contemporary dance.
The performance is part of the project “Public Spaces Re:claimed”
